RUDE 0.3.0 rudiment generator databurn

Windows, 64-bit, CLAP:

  rude.clap copy to C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP\

Rescan plug-ins in the host. RUDE is a note effect: put it on an
instrument track before a drum instrument with a General MIDI kit (or any
kit, using the keys on the ADVANCED page). It sends drum notes on MIDI
channel 10.

To hear it straight away, hold any key, or set Trigger to transport and
press play. RUDE takes two rudiments, A and B, and breeds a third from
them: a new instance interlocks A's right hand with B's left (Hocket).
ROLL picks a new pair, blend and seed; UNDO goes back. Click either
rudiment's name to open the library, 119 patterns in eleven families.
Drag the DRAG .MID tile onto a track to take the loop out as MIDI, or
click it to save the file to Documents.

New in 0.3.0:
The library grows to 119: the 35 Carnatic talas (as the hand keeps
them: claps, finger counts and waves), six Turkish usuls (düm on the
kick), and the Aka pattern Simha Arom's rhythmic oddity is shown
with: no two strokes half a cycle apart.
ROLL picks a family first and then a pattern in it, so a big family
is no likelier than a small one. The dot on each family's tab in the
library, or the ROLL DRAWS FROM row on ADVANCED, takes it in or out
  of what ROLL draws from.
The library pages a family longer than one screen.
A new instance blends with Hocket, so both rudiments sound. Projects
saved with 0.2 keep their blend.

rude-note.pdf is the research note: where the rudiments come from, how
each blend works, and the sources (document DB-WP-003). The same note,
with pictures and a timeline, is at https://databurn.org/rude/
